Q's & A's?

What is a seeded hunt?
Purchased coins are lightly planted into the ground. All confined within a designated area. Some coins/tokens may have a number on it which corresponds to a winning prize. Everything you find is yours to keep. It reminds me of an easter egg hunt with a metal detector.

What is a gate fee?
This is set amount of money set aside to give to the owner of the property for allowing us access.

What is a relic hunt?
Relic hunting refers to metal detecting in an old area which was known to have human activity. At this particular event the owner allows us to keep what we find. Ie: Highly collectible sawmill tokens (trinity, clinesburg), Coins, Bottles, Jewelry, toys, iron tools, pendants......

What is Fostoria Sawmill?
It was a very large sawmill that was in operation off of Hwy 105 E during the late 1800's to 1950. Once it shut down the town became a ghost town.
